We know: You can’t use CRM Learning’s Hosted Online Training technology without the support of your organization's IT department. To garner that backing, we present you with answers to the most frequently asked questions, so you can be confidently armed with the proper knowledge when going to IT.

Our Hosted Online Training can work on any computer – PC, Apple or Linux -- that has Adobe’s Flash Player version 8 or higher, which is a free and easy download.

The video displays smoothly on computers connected to the internet using a bandwidth of at least 256 kb/second – meaning that anyone with a DSL or cable modem hookup will experience ideal playback. Those with dial-up connections may see choppy video at first, but in such cases we’re usually able to solve that issue on an individual basis.

Firewalls are also not typically an issue. Setting up our video training through your computer network is also a virus-free process.

In most cases, there is no speed degradation of your network, because usage is typically staggered. That is, if you’re training 500 people, chances are that only a fraction of them will be watching simultaneously, at any given time. Video is compressed, as well, so the files aren’t large.

We build in security features, so that people from outside of your company cannot steal any training secrets over the Web. In fact, we build in password-protected predefined user lists, so only pre-designated employees can sign on.

The system can be customized to display post-it-style notes or special instructions from your training administrator, at any point in the video. Or the system can send supervisors notes to let them know when employees watched the video. There’s no extra fee for these features, which are also simple to set up.
