M.E.E.T. On Common Ground
Run time: 22 Minutes
Unlike many programs that focus on high-level "strategic" theories concerning diversity and inclusion management,
M.E.E.T. on Common Ground is a "ground-zero" tactical approach.
Six highly realistic vignettes reveal a practical four-step process for recognizing and responding with respect to inappropriate workplace behavior. Perfect for training on diversity awareness, communication, harassment, and conflict resolution.
The program introduces and demonstrates the M.E.E.T. model:
- Make time to discuss
- Explore differences
- Encourage respect
- Take personal responsibility for promoting respect in the workplace
After completing the Workshop, participants will be able to:
- Explain the benefit of mutual respect in the workplace
- Explain the importance of personal responsibility in promoting respect
- Use the four steps in the M.E.E.T. model to help promote a "mutual respect" working environment
