Bloodborne Pathogens: Just the Facts
Run time: 16 Minutes
Bloodborne pathogens are microorganisms that can cause disease when transmitted from an infected individual to another individual through blood and certain body fluids. They are capable of causing serious illness and death. The most common illnesses are Hepatitis B and C and HIV. As these are “invisible” but deadly threats, proper training and education is required where there exists a chance for exposure.
This training course meets and exceeds the requirements for OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens training established by the federal OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.
Bloodborne Pathogens: Just the Facts gives viewers a complete picture of the risks of exposure, the kinds of diseases potentially present in blood and bodily fluids, and best practices for staying safe in the event an accident involving blood occurs.
An all-inclusive training course,
